about

hipster poem about a bad gig

lyrics

called the promoter
booked the date
changed my strings
could hardly wait
this was the show
I would make asplash
I put out a lot of cash
owner didnt care about what I spent
paid the band with my rent
designed a poster
wrote a release
paid fro rehearsals
the space had a lease
got a sound system
soundman too
what else could I do
Nobody Came
Nobody Cared

it was a ten dollar gig

Originally hired as subs for regular members of a Gypsy Jazz band, the three immediately recognized what fun it was to play together. This band is fun personified!
